When an electrical appliance enters the market, for us, the story of its recycling already begins.

We take over the responsibility of producers and importers of electrical and electronic equipment and turn legal obligations into efficient solutions for collection, recycling, and education.

missionHow did it all begin?

ENVIRON was established in 2007, as a natural response to Romania’s integration into a European space where environmental protection is no longer optional, but a shared responsibility.

From the very beginning, we took on the role of a reliable partner for producers and importers, helping them meet their legal obligations and collection targets for WEEE.

Today, we are one of the most solid compliance schemes in Romania. For over 18 years, we’ve worked with companies, authorities, and communities to transform regulations into real, effective, and sustainable solutions.

Throughout these years, we have built a functional system that supports legal compliance, facilitates nationwide collection, and fosters long-term change through awareness campaigns aimed at both private and public audiences.

We manage the legal responsibility for over 1,500 companies regarding WEEE collection and recycling and operate a national network of nearly 5,000 collection points — in retail, supermarkets, schools, private companies, public institutions, and local authorities.
